Migration Risk Assessment: know what your migration puts at risk, in 5 business days

A migration is coming and you cannot commit to a full engagement yet. For €2,500 you get one document that names the pages carrying your leads, what losing them would cost, and whether the plan is safe to launch. Written so you can forward it to your CEO without rewriting a word.

What you get

01

The revenue at risk, in money terms

Which pages produce your leads, and what share of your pipeline runs through them. The number your CEO asks for first.

02

Your top risks, ranked

Ranked by likelihood and by the revenue behind them, each with the step that prevents it. Not a list of every technical error on the site.

03

A verdict

Go, fix these first, or restructure the plan. One answer, with what it rests on.

04

The list for your developer

The non-negotiables to hand your developer or agency before they build: the pages, URLs and settings that cannot change without a plan.

What the forecast looks like

The revenue at risk starts from a forecast like this one: what your organic traffic does after launch, in a best, expected and worst case, next to what it would have done without the move.

10k15k20k25k30kSep ’25Dec ’25Mar ’26Jun ’26Sep ’26Dec ’26Mar ’27Jun ’27launchSEO strategyNo migrationAd-hoc workNo work10k15k20k25k30kSep ’25Jan ’26MaySepJan ’27Maylaunch

Pipeline clicks per month, before and after a migration. Pipeline clicks are the clicks on the pages that bring in customers. Expected drop in the launch month: 17% (best case 6%, worst case 32%). What happens after launch decides the year: by June 2027 the site is 20% above where it would have been with an SEO strategy, or 26% below it with no work after launch. Your assessment builds the same forecast from your own pages and Search Console history, and turns the lost clicks into leads and euros.

How the 5 days run

  1. Before

    A free 30-minute call

You tell me what the migration is and what you already believe is at risk. If the assessment is not the right step, you hear that on the call.

  2. Days 1 to 5

    I do the work

Read access to Search Console and analytics, a crawl of your current site, and your plan for the new one. You get the document within 5 business days of access.

  3. After

    A 45-minute walkthrough

We go through the verdict and the risks together, with whoever needs to hear them: your developer, your agency, your CEO.

What I need from you

  • Read access to Google Search Console and your analytics
  • Which pages bring in leads, and what a lead or a deal is worth to you
  • The plan for the new site: platform, URL changes and launch date

What it does not include

  • Building the redirects. The assessment tells your developer what to build; the build stays with them.
  • A full technical audit. A crawl tool lists every error. This ranks the risks by the revenue behind them.
  • Launch support and monitoring. Those are part of the migration engagement, from €10,000.

Who should not buy this

  • Organic search brings in no leads yet. There is little revenue at risk to measure. The free migration checklist is the better start.
  • Your site sells to consumers. My migrations are for B2B sites, measured in leads and pipeline.

Why start here

Every migration I run starts with this assessment; here it is sold on its own. This is how my migrations run: priority pages at 2 to 4x their organic sessions within a month of launch, and leads holding or growing through launch week where they are tracked. The basis is the three migrations I delivered in 2025. One is public with the client named: the Bedrijfsfitness Nederland move to HubSpot CMS, where weekly leads finished launch week up 21 percent.

“His work on the content audit, keyword focus, and risk identification helped us make informed decisions.”
Mingus Mkubukeli, Senior Digital Marketing Lead, Backbase

If you continue

If we work together on the migration within 60 days, the €2,500 is credited in full against the migration engagement, which starts at €10,000 and grows with scope. The assessment is its first phase, so nothing is done twice. The cost page has the full breakdown, and all my prices are on one page.
